IT is hereby notified in accordance with thn provisions of section 41 g lof '"The Laud Act, 1908," and the Regulations made thereunder by Lrovernor.in-Counc.il, that a vacancy in the membership of the Wellington Crown Lands Board will occur on or before May :51st. 1911, on which date the appointment of Henry Thomas Ellinghatn to the said Board expires in ordinary course or a possible vacation of his office before that date in terms 'of section 44 of "The Land Act, ' IIKtS," and that nominations to till i such vacancy will be received at the j office of the Commissioner of Crown I Lands, Wellington, up to 5 o'clock in ! the afternoon of JUNE Ist, 1911. j No persou*shnll he eligible as a candidate for election unless he is nominated in writing by at least two persons who, on the First Day of January, 1911, were the owners of any lease or license of or in respect of any Crown Lands situated in the Wellington Land District, and unless the nomination paper bearing the candidate's consent is received at the office above named before the time fixed for the closing of nominations. Such nomination papers will be supplied on application ro the Commissioner lof Crown Lauds, Wellington. Should only one nomination be received, such candidate shall be declared duly elected, provided he is otherwise "eligible, the date of which election (if required) will be duly notified.
