Last January, at the sale of the Waikanae yearlings, Mr S. Luttrell, of Christchurch, purchased the fullsister to Peirene for 400 guineas and the Achilles —Prelude filly for 220 guineas. Both these yearlings have now been purchased by Messrs W. G. and G. L. Stead from Mr Luttrell.
