TRENTHAM MEETING.

WELLINGTON, Last Night,

The final day of the Wellington Racing Club's meeting opened in wiudy aud cloudy weather. The attendance was on the small side. Some good racing was witnessed during the day. The totahsator figures for the day were £10,313 10s, against £17,358 for the corresponding day last year. The total for the meeting was £52,004, compared with £51,063 for the 1910 summer gatnering. Twenty bookmakers were licensed. Following are the additional results :—

Summer Handicap, of 400 soys, one mile —Mr R. D. O'Donnell's Los Angelos, 9.0 (R. Hatch), 1; Mr J. W. Lowe's Effort, 8.«. 2; Hon. J. D. Ormoud's Birkdale. 7.13, 3. Also started—Lady Medallist, Full Rate, Polymorphous, Suubonnet, Genius, Merry Frank, and Countermine. Countermine led for half a mile, Genius supporting her, and Los Angelos lying handy. The chestnut came away with a good rattle and won by half a length, Birkdale the same distance away. Time, lmin 40 2-ssecs.

Selling Plate, of 150 soys, six furlongs.—All Guns, 8.8. 1; Purakau, 8.8, 2; Merrie Emerald, 8.8, 3. Also started—Moree. Moreykoff, Surmount. Time, lmin 1? 2-ssec. The winner was sold for £110.

Kaitoke Handicap, of 100 soys, five furlongs.—Contralto, 7.153, 1; Winning Post, 8.6, 2; Directoire, 7.10, 3. Also startea—Killaloo, Longstep, Rongomat, Big Blast, Lochiela, Lady Kiicheran, Ahuapai, aud Wee Rose. Time, lmin Ssecs.

Consolation Handicap, of 300 soys, 1% miles. — Parable, 7.2, 1; Merrivouia, 8.1 2; Vi, GlO 3. Also started— Iranui, Sir Tristram Dazzling. Outlander, Passive. Time, 2min 8 4-ssecs. -

City Handicap of 250 soys six furlongs.—Obsono 8.0 (R. Hatch) 1; Dearest 7.7 2; Formby 7.7 3. Also started —Gipsy Belle, Sea Queen, Tenterhook. Time, lmin 14 2-ssecs.
