The Institute of Civil Engineers considered papers by Halligan and Krig, of the Works Department, Sydney, on bar harbours, sand move ments; also Russell Palmer's papers on Fremantle harbour works. Messrs Ooghlan, Darliug and other eminent engineers participated in the interesting discussion which ensued.
