At the first attempt all competitors were disqualified ou the ground that they did not swim square all the way, or touched with both hands. Wickhams iirsfc time was lmin 13 4-osscs.
Half-Mile Championship. — Hardwick (N.S. Wales). 1; Lougworth (Wales). 2; Springfield (Queensland), 3. Time, 12miu Won by six yards.
Wickham made a world's record in the 60yds swim iv 3lsecs.
