AUCKLAND, Wednesday,
A fire at Pukekohe destroyed two large buildings. One was owned by S. A. Whyte aud occupied by Vanzioua (chemist); the other was owned by the Samuel Vaile Company and occupied by Wright, their local agent. Vauziona's stocK was destroyed Wright's furniture and office fittiugs were saved. Both buildings were insured— Vaile'fi in the Royal for £400, the loss being estimated at £200. Vauziona's loss is estimated at £300, covered by insnrance.
