D. Mclutosh, who has made such a success of the boxing contests at the Sydney Stadium. At least oue of the best sites iv Melbourne has been secured, and building operations are to be begun at ouce, while a contract, for a skating floor at the Stadium, . Sydney, hf.s. already been let. Iv order to provide capital for the enlargement aucl expansion to Melbourne and the other States, a company, to be known as The Stadium, Limited, has beeu formed. In this compauy 25,000 £1 shares, on which it is proposed to call np lGs, are offered to the _ public. As the old company made a JP , ' profit of £25.000, according to the auditor's report, in the eighteen months it has been in existence, the prospects of the new concern on the enlarged basis are particularly bright. The shares are underwritten, and will be on offer to the public for a few days only. Australia is noted a>; being oue of the best countries in the world for amusement ventures, and Sydney has the credit of having given Melba the record house of her career; so there should be no fear as to the field.
