STOCK MARKET.

Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Mastertou stock sale, held yesterday, as follows :—A.n extra heavy yarding of sheep, consisting principally of owes, was submitted. Owing to most of the ewe buyers having filled their requirements for this season, we had a difficulty in obtaining prices that have been lately ruling for breeding ewes, and we iiave to report a fall in prices. Young owes"and wethers, however, met with animated competition, and values were fully sustained. In cattle au average yarding, consisting principally of useful sorts of steers and bullocks, was submitted, and although bidding was not animated still we quitted all lots at full rates before the close of the sale. We quote:—Best two-tooth ewes 14s 4d, others 11s to 12a 6d, four and sixtooth ewes 12s (id' to 13s (id, four-year-old ewes best 10s Od to 12s Gd, others 8s 6d to 10s, full-mouth ewes 10s Jd, lOs, !)s Gd, 9s down to 7s, store ewes (of which there was au extra heavy yarding) 5s to 6s Bd, cull ewes 2s (id to 4s Id, two-tooth wethers 12s to 12s Sd, mixed ewes and wetners 9s 4d to 10s 10d, black-face lambs 7s Id, medium lambs 4s 7d to 5s Gd, cull lambs 2s Id to 3s 10d, Southdown rams 2gus, Lincoln rams 3gus.
