In couuer.tiou with the German naval frauds the trial has begun of four naval yard officials of Kiel aud five Kiel aud Hamburg merchants. The thefts included whole wagonloads of new armour plating. Heinrich, the principal official concerned, held an appointment at the yards for the last 54 yaars.
