A meeting of tiie Eketahuna branch of the New Zealand Farmers' Union was held ou Saturday. Mr W. H. Bridge (Presinent) occupying the chair.

tiou as a member, as he was leaving j|jjhe district.—Accepted Jib regret. TljilrThe Chairman reported that negotiations were still in progress with the auctioneers regarding the saleyards. Three new members were nominated and three elected.
The secretary reported that a profit of £2 las had been made on the wool classe3 recently held.
The meeting then went into Show business.
A handsome glass case contaiuiug ■specimens of New Zealand wool, presented to the Eketahuna branch of the Farmers' Union by Thomas and Cook, wool brokers, London, is on view at the County Council Chambers. The case contains neatly arranged samples of 32's, 36's. 40's, 44s'. 46's hoggets' and wethers' wool, 50's, 56'r, 60's, ■64's, 70's, and 803 New Zealand wool, 40's, 44's, 46's scoured wool, 450's, 3G's, 40's, 44's, 46's, 50's, 56's 58's, and fi4's New Zealand tops, 50\s and oti's New Zealand super tops, and a number of yarns of different tmds made from New Zealand wools.
