TETTER, OR HERPES.
This is characterised by an outbreak of small vesicles appearing in groups; as the vesicles increase iv size, tho fluid which they contain dries and scales off ; the eruption is accompanied by a burning or smarting seusatiou, which is often very annoying to the patient. Another form appears in patches ou the face and neck, ou the hands and wrists, and in rlie joints. The patches are rough, inclined to crack, and havo a raw appearance ; tho fluid from the surface dries, and is thrown off in bran-like scales; and its duration is often protracted. It is caused by immoderate use of rich and indigestible food, and a morbid condition of tho cutanous excretions. External application is of little, use in effecting a cure, tho use of that great stomach and liver tonic and blood purifier IMPEYS' MAY APPLE is the speediest and surest cure.
