Prices ou the Chicago market for May deliveries of wheat have risen to 128 cents (5s 4d) per bushel, July to 117 (4s aud September to 109 (4s 6^d).
Mr Patten is holding for 130 cents (5s sd) for July options aud 125 cents (5s 2j_d) for September. During the past week a syndicate holding 10,000,----000 bushels has joined Patten.
