OASSIN, LAND, ESTATE,. & COMMISSION "AGENT, & AUCTIONEER, WAIPUKURAU and HASTINGS. McDOUGALL'S TO THE FORE AGAIN. IT is now four years ago since Messrs McDougall Bros, first put on the market their now famous Artffeic Sulphur Paste Dip, and since volume of output lias been-enormously increased. The following are a few of the reasons, culled from the numerous unsolicited testimonials coming to hand by every mail, why it is becoming the popular dip with New Zealand flock-owners :— 1. It is easily mixed with cold water of any quality. 2. It does not separate like powder, but remains in solution, reducing the quantity of sediment to a minimum. 3. It does not rob the wool of its natural yoke.inor harden the staple, thus leaving it beautifully soft and lustrous. 4. It destroys the eggs as well as the parasite, and adheres to the fleece, thus rendering reinfection impossible before shearing. 5. It is a preventative of Maggot; Fly, wjjich unfortunately is becoming a menace to sheepfarmers throughout the Dominion. 6. It has been officially approved by the British Board of Agriculture. 7. It is supplied at a guaraujAd and uniform strength at a reasoJPfle cost. At the Royal Agricultural Society's Show, held at Newcastle-ou-Tyne, ia July last, McDougall Bros. Dips came out on top, taking thirty-five first prizes and special prizes attached for sheep dipped in McDougalls', thus proving the superiority of this wellknown composition. The following letter speaks for itself :— Hakowhai, Hawke's Bay, N.Z., August 20th, 1908. Messrs McDougall Bros., Manchester. Dear Sirs,—l have used your Arsenic Sulphur Paste. Dip since its introduction to the Colony, nearly four years ago. lam pleased to say that it has given me entire satisfaction, and for keeping the sheep free from ticks, lice, and as preventive against the "Fly," it surpasses any disused by me previously. The water I use is full of lime, yet it mixes nicely, and, like your old "Non-Poisonous" fluid, leaves the Wool beautifully soft and lustrous. You are at liberty to make whatever use of this letter you wish. My flock (of 7000 sheep) is open to inspection by anyone desirous of doing sheep again this season being bfl)bifully free from parasites. Yours faithfully, (Signed) HUGH McDONALD.
