CHILDREN'S FANCY DRESS BALL

A BRILLIANT FUNCTION

At the Exchange Buildings, on Thursday eveuiug, a fashionable children's fancy dress dance Avas giveu by Mrs W. H. Hoskiug. The function was iv houour of the two young daughters of Mr aud Mrs Albert Hoskiug, prior to their departure for their uew home iv Queensland. The ballroom Avas prettily decorated aud well illuuiiuated, showing to advantage the many beautiful costumes of the very large number of youthful guests. The costumes and characters of the children had beeu carefully and cleverly carried out by the parents, mauy of whom Avere present to enjoy witnessing the youug peoplo's supreme happiness.
