MISTAKEN IDENTITY.
Jones's wife weut out to see some friends, and left him to take care of the children, of whom there are a number. All of them are small. She did not return until late, and the children were all in bed. "Well, how did the children behave ?" was her first question. "Pretty well, except one," was the reply. "He cried a good deal." The wife hurried upstairs to find out what was the matter. A minute lator she came rushing downstairs. "No wonder he cried," she said excitedly, "that was Mrs Brown's little Tommy.''
