LARRIKINISM AT KOPUARANGA.
Tto the bditor.l
Sir, —I noticed iv your p;i.per tluifc some thoughtless individuals secured with wire the door of the tmildiug at Kopnartiuga iv which a, kiuematograph display was going ou. They did uot add to their villiauy a shout of "Fire!" which is just what such miscreauts might be expected to do. I sincerely hone the police may be able to get hold of these rascals, aud that they may get as severe a punishment as the law allows. It is dreadful to contemplate what might have been the tragic sequel to such a senseless piece of larrikiuism. I do not think a magistrate would be disposed to let off with a tine perpetrators of a dastardly act of this nature Aud where, may I ask, does the fuu come iu?—l am, etc., CIVIS. 17th December, 11)07.
