DOGS NOT WANTED.

[to the editor,

Sir, —I have a decided objection to taking my morning swim (in the Park Lake) in the company of dogs, mangy or otherwise. The small boy is a dreaded nuisance when ne encourages the clog by throwing sticks for doggy to fetch out. The mud stirred up extends for chains. When I require a mud bath I prefer to go to Rotorua for it. Dogs frequently have little things about them that I don't require. I know a nod is sufficient for the Park trustees. Every dog has his day, therefore a day should be put aside for them. —I am, etc.,

VALAZE. (The custodian of the Park will,

doubtless, see that bathers are protected. Ed. W.D.T.)
