Martinborough, a Most Rising Town. At the present time Martinborongh is one of the most rising inland towns in the Dominion. Its population has doubled itself in a few years. It lies in the centre of a most prolific land district, equal to that of Hawke's Bay, and with further settlement the place must become a hive of industry. Already the town boasts a boot manufactory, while two cheese factories have been established there within the past few months. There are regular stock sales, several banking institutions, and many handsome business places. Railway Gommuuication. Martinborough is just now twelve miles from the railway line, but its trade is advancing at such a rapid rate that there has already been talk of railway communication. The residents are so confident on the subject that they have offered to construct the line at their own expense, and to hand the whole thing to the Government, and accept three per cent, for the money invested. How Land Values have increased in Martinborough. Just to give an instance of how land values have increased in Martinborough, it may be mentioned that town property which four years ago was selling at £100 the quarter-acre was sold some weeks ago at £600 the quarfcey-acre, or 510 per foot, representing an Increase of 500 per cent, in Four Years, PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT ON REAL ESTATE: "Every person who invests in wellselected real estate in a growing section of a prosperous community adopts the surest and safest method of becoming independent, for real estate is the basis of all wealth." The Land is High and Dry. These sections are high and dry, and they will be sold in areas of from a quarter to two-acre lots. The Terms are Easy.
