SEEKING INFORMATION.
Jackson was at a seaside boardinghouse, and one evening he went out to sit on the balcony. A young widow with a little boy was at the other end, and by and bye the little boy came along to him to make friends. '' What's your name?" he asked. Jackson told him. "Is you married?" asked the little fellow. "No, my dear," replied Jackson. The boy looked at him for a little, then ran away back to his mother and asked in loud tones, "What more am I to ask, mother?" Jackson made his escape as soon as possible.
