There is wide spread satisfaction at the settlement of the railway dsipute, and this fee.liug.has already produced a sharp advance in the price of shares in some of the railway companies.
The Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants has resolved to accept the terms of the agreement as an honourable settlement, and to urge its menibors to give the machinery provided under the agreement a fair trial.
