POST OFFICE HOLIDAY.
MONDAY, 11th NOVEMBER, 1007 IN LIEU OF SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 9th.
The following hours of attendance will be observed at the local Post and Telegraph Office on Monday, 11th inst., which day is being observed as the statutory holiday in honour of the King's Birthday:— Postal Branch. —A close holiday will be observed. All mails usually despatched on this day will be made up connect with early trains and up to 8 a.m. delivery of all correspondence, including registered, will be made over the Post Office counter on Saturday, November 9th, between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Telegraph Office.—Open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight. Telegrams for transmission after 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. to be handed in at back entrance top of stairs. Telephone Exchange.—Open as usual —i.e., 8 a.m. to midnight continously. A. HESTER, Postmaster.
