The ordinary meeting of Court Makakahi, A.0.F., was held on Tuesday night, Bro. V. Anderson presiding. The Woodwards, reported two members as sick. Bros. Doyle and French were elected delegates to attend a meeting to discuss the Cottage Hospital scheme. The delegate to the triennial conference (Bro. Wise) was recommended to support the scheme for assisting old and indigent members. The nominations of officers resulted as follows :—O.R., Bro. Doyle; S.C.R., Bro. Bedding ; S.W., Bro. Fauvel; J.W., Bro. Wallace ;S B„ Bros. E. Prendeville, J. Folias and F. Coe ; J.B, Bros. Prendeville, J. Folhs, 'F. Coe, J. Nicol, and T. Carter; treasurer, Bro. E. Prendeville; secretary, Bro. F. Wise; auditor, Bro. Bedding. The secretary was instructed to write to the Pahiatua Court to arrange a visit at an early date. Four new members were initiated and three proposed for initation at next meeting.
