The sum of £8,259 was passed through the totalisator during the second day of the Woodville Jockey Club's summer meeting yesterday, making £10,095 for the meeting —£5,251 more than at the corresponding meeting last year. The results were as follows :—
Stewards' Handicap—Te Uira, 1; Mataari, 2; Pantaloon, 3, Dividends, £9 19s and 15s.
Second Hack Handicap Hurdles.—Assayer, 1; Rookby, 2 ; Sen Sim, 3. Divs., £2 16s and 15s.
Ruahine Hack Welter.—Victoria Park, 1; Pomegranate, 2; Mahoe, 3. Divs., £2 3s and £4 19s.
Summer Handicap, one mile and a distance. -Polyanthus, 1; Paritutu, 2 ; King's Lynn, 3. Time, lmin 58sec. Divs., £2 15s and £1 Bs.
Telegraph Hack Handicap.—Marseillaise, 1; Lomaria, 2; Miss Adeline, 3. Divs., £3 6s and £1 6s.
Railway Handicap.—Pink 'Un, 1; Gold Seal, 2 ; Arc Light, 3. Divs., £4 9a and £1 3s.
Hack Scurry.—Kai Errin, 1; Pearlie, 2 ; Routine, 3. Divs., £2 15s and £1 3s. High-weight Handicap.—Ladylike, 1; iEolus, 2 ; Moral, 3. Divs., £5 4s and 14s.
