Constable's Maniacal Deed
Double Murder and Suicide

Constable Lang, who is stationed at Pyramid Hill (155 miles north of Melbourne) near Bendigo, murdered his two little girls, four and five years of age respectively, and then killed himself. The deed is inexplicable.
Lang was married a second time eleven months ago. He took both the children into his bedroom, barricaded the door, and shot them with a revolver and then shot himself.
