Wairarapa and Masterton Golf Clubs played a match at Rototawai yesterday, the first-named winning by seven matches to two in the Men's, and by two matches to ml in the Ladies , . Following are the respective scores, Wairarapa players being named first in each instance: —
Men,-- J. C. Bid will beat C. C. Cox, 3 up, 1 to play; W. E. Bid will beat A. B. Lawrence, 2 up ; M. F. Turrell beat A. Bewley, 4 up, 3 to play; F. Pearce lost to W. H. Robieson, 4 down, 3 to play; A. Hannay beat N. D. Bunting,' 5 up, 3 to play ; J. 0. Bid will lost to W. H. L. Galwey, 4 down, 2 to play ; G. Hume beat W. P. James, 5 up 4to play; W. Kiely beat A. C. Major, 2up ; W. Hume beat G. C. Summerell, 6 up, 5 to play.
Ladies.—Mrs W. E. Bid will and Miss J. Robieson, alhquare ; Miss Hannay beat Mrs N. Beetham, 5 up, 3 to play; Miss D. Monckton and Miss E. Robieson, all square; Mrs F. Pearce beat Mrs W. P. James, 2 up. 1 to play ; Mrs G. Hume and Miss Holmes, all square.
