Pietermaritzburg, Last Night,

Colonel Murray-Smith chased tho rebels across the Buffalo river into Nortiu. Several' were killed when crossing, and six surrendered. Each carried four assegais and a shield. Bambaata and Siganani have quarrelled. The former, with a few followers, has entered an almost impenetrable emone bush. There is a growing impression that Bambaata wishes to leave the rebols in the lurch.
