Of Draught Stock and Plant
We would draw the atten f ion of farmers and contractors to the great sale of draught stock, which is to be held at Manakau, Manawatu, on Thursday next, on behalf of Messrs Swainson and Bevan, Ltd., who are relinquishing the contracting portion of their business. The firm has been noted for the very fine selection of draught stock and the complete plant that they have maintained in connection with their large business. The horses and plant to be offered are reported to be in first-class condition, and buyers can have every confidence in making their purchases.
The sale has been timed to allow purchasers to arrive in the morning by train from north and south, and to return to their homes on the same day.
