METEOROLOGICAL COMPETITION.
The following are the conditions attached to the Daily Times Meteorological Competition, for which prizes were recently oilered by our correspondent " Climate ": —
(1.) Competition to extend over four weeks, from Nov. 20th, to Saturday, Dec. 16th.
(2.) Competitors to be pupils attending any day school in the Borough or County of Masterton.
(3.) Essay to contain not more than 250 words and to be written by the competitor
unaided,
(4.) Essays to be judged by " Climate' and a member of the W.D. Times staff.
(5.) Competitors must state name, age, address, what school they are attending and also state what standard they are in.
(G.) Essays, addressed " Meteorological Competition," must reach Daily Times Office not later than Wednesday, 20th December. The winning essays will be published on Saturday, December 23rd.
The value of the prizes is as follows First, 10s; second, ss; third, 2s 6d.
