The above herd of Ayrshire Cattle has been in existence for over 20 years, and is now acknowledged to be the finest herd in the Southern Hemisphere. Mr Luxford's name as a breeder is well and favourably known throughout the Australian Colonies, and as an exhibitor at the various shows he has secured over 250 first prizes, as well as a large number of championships.
