Sir, —A wide gap exists between the free, healthy country life and the boxed-up town life, and I wish to advocate, in order to encourage our town youth to learn farm vocations, the establishment of a Free Dairy Farm School and also an Agricultural College near Masterton. With a Government grant and the wealthy Trust Lands Trust assisting, the suggestion is feasible. I think that the Matahiwi flat would be a good situation.—l am, etc.,
