Palmerston N., Last Night,
Mr Pirani addressed the electors to-night There was a large unsympathetic audience. Cheers were given for Mr AVood. An amendment of want of confidence in the speaker was proposed, and well received, but the meeting broke up in disorder, the chairman being unable to put any resolution. Disparaging references to Mr Wood were badly received.
