(Received To-day, at 10.40 a.m.) Sydney, This Day. Greasy wool sold to lid. A record for the season.

At the opening of the wool sale there was a large attendance, and good competition. Compared with last year's opening rates, good merinos were 5 to 10 per cent, higher, crossbreds and lambs 10 per cent, higher, faulties at par with last season. Greasy wool went up to 12-|d, scoured 241 d.
