(By Telegraph. — Press Assoclattmi.) Dunedin, Last Night. The Union street School Committee considered a request, of ministers to be allowed to give half-an-hour's religious teaching per week, on one day on which the school would be opened half-an-hour later than usual for ordinary school work. After discussion, it was resolved : " The committee considers that lo grant the request would be an evasion of the spirit of the law, and the committee sees no reason to alter its decision declining the request."
