Following is the directors' annual report :
Gentlemen, —We are again able to congratulate you on the result of the past season's operations.
The amount of milk received was 3,192,655 lbs, an increase, on last year's supply of 330,891 lbs. The butter-fat amounted to 12-1,559 lbs, the milk showing an average test of 3.9 per cent. The cheese made was 322,414 lbs (nearly 144 tons), and each pound of butter-fat averaged 2.58 lbs of cheese.
The cheese maintained its high standard of excellence throughout the season, and the factory manager, Mr E. Williams, was awarded premier honours at the Wairarapa and East Coast Pastoral and Agricultural Society's Show, and prizes at the New Plymouth Exhibition.
Three directors, Messrs C. Morgan, E. W, Morgan and G-. Stevens retire by rotation, and are eligible for re-election. You will also be asked to elect a director in the place of Mr J. T. Manning, who is leaving the district, and you will be called upon to elect an auditor.—Geo. Stevens, Chairman.
