ELECTRIC LIGHTING.
(By Telegraph' — Press Association). Tlmaru, Last Night.
Subject to the satisfactory arrangement of details, the Borough Council accepts the oiler of Scott Bros., of Christchurch, to instal an electric light plant to light the streets, supplying a total of 21,300 candle power for £750 a year for an average of four hours per night (equal to 3klper unit), extensions to be charged pro rata, current to be supplied to private consumers at not exceeding Is per unit for light, 4d for power, the Council to have the right of purchase on terms stated.
