Vice-Admiral Kataoka reports that after the capture of the lighthouses near Port Decastur, the squadron silenced four guns at Alexandrovsk, on the mainland. The Russians fired the town and blew up the magazine. The submission of the Russians driven from Alexandrovsk, in Saghalien, is imminent, completing the occupation of the island. The Russians are now isolated thirty miles south-east of Alexandrovsk.
