A Few Reminders.

1. During any hot weather be careful to keep the fowlhouses very clean. 2. Get rid of all the old hens now before they moult, if possible ; only keep what you want for breeding, and be sure to keep the best layers. 3. A little linseed in the morning food and a little Douglas , mixture or Parrish's food in the water help the birds over the moult. -1. Be careful not to leave any soft food about, as it sours quickly in hot weather. 5. Pick out a few of your best cockerels to keep, but get rid of the rest. 6. Feed your pullets well now, giving a little green bone two or three times a week, as'you want them to start laying this month. 7. Fowls want plenty green food just now, and don't foraet to keep the grit box fall.
