Timaru Ram Fair.

\\Sy Telegraph — Press Association^

Tdiaru, Last Night

The annual ram fair, under the auspices of the A. and P. Association, was held to-day. The entries were smaller than last year, many surplus rams having been sold for the North Island, and so, many farmers are busy harvesting that the attendance was also smaller. The highest price paid was Sgns for a 4-tooth stud English Leicester, sold for E. Kelland to J. Kelland. Border and English Leicesters sold pretty freely at Signs to sgns, a few making 7gns. Shropshires were not in demand. A pen of Withell's Corriedales sold at 3gns.
