Masterton 11. v. Greytown 11.

This match was concluded on Saturday last, and after an exciting finish, resulted in a tie, the aggregate scores of each team totalling 109 runs. The local team in their second innings put together 69 runs, Coradine playing a fine innings for 24. Grcytown had 52 runs to win but only reached 51 when the last wicket fell. Armstrong (20) was the chief contributor. Jago and Robertson bowled splendidly for Masterton, the former's analysis reading 4 wickets for 12 runs, and the latter's 5 for 25.
