The Senate, after strenuous opposition from the Labour section, decided not to insist on its amendments in the Arbitration Bill, which, having received the final touches, was returned to the House after two years' fighting, causing the full of several Ministers. The Bill only requires the Governor-General's signature. The House passed the Appropriation Bill.
