Wellington v. Otago.

Wellington, Saturday.
Wellington defeated Otago by 15 points to 13, after a very interesting game. Playing with the wind in the first half Otago rattled on 13 points, scoring three tries, two of which were converted, while the home team failed to score. In the second spell Wellington made the fullest use of their possibilities and put on 15 points, three tries (one converted) and a goal from a mark. By their win the Wellington team retain until next season the Kanfurly Shield, which they won from Auckland this year.
