INSTANTANEOUS DEATH.

Mr James King, an old resident of Bannockburn, was killed on the Halfway House dredge. The crew were coaling the dredge by means ot a line, when Mr King was*struck by three bags in a sling, and knocked against a post, death being almost instantaneous.
