Warnambool-Melbourne Race.

The road race from Warnambool to Melbourne (165 miles) was won by Wright, of Victoria, with Liixcouabe, of New South Wales, second, and H. Henderson, of New Zoalaud, third.
The race was run under unfavourable circumstances. The heavy rain of the past few days made the road heavy. Owing to the weather conditions, only twenty-nine faced the starter.
The times of the placed men were — Wright (oSmin start), riding time, 7hrs 52min 57sec; Larcombc (20tnin), 7hrs 48niin 7sec; Henderson (25min), 7hrs 52min 29sec. Larcombe's time was only 7sec outside the world's record established by Arnst last year. (llcccived Today, at 10.15 a.vi.)', Melbourne, This Day. In the road race J. Arnst's machine broko down. The rider wtu suffering from influenza. R. Arnst finished tenth in 7 hours 49mins. 22secs.
