"Throw outs" from the various departments will b? found to bs special bargain features of the clearing sale at tha D.I.C. in the last week. The object of the clearing sale ia to clear up the stock, and a further sacrifice in oddments will not be allowed to stand in the. way of a final clearing up. Hence in tho dress department all remnints will be charged at half price at the D.I.C. To secure a share in these it is only neoessary to forward a post office order for the amount to be expended with general direction as to the class of good 3 and for what purpose they are required, and care will be given by the order staff in sorting out. Remnants of Mousing silks, black and coloured dress materials, special robe lengths of which no two are alike, will be noticeable bargains.
