THE EASTER HOLIDAYS.
Post and Telegraph Oftice Hours.
Through the courtesy of the Postmaster we are enabled to publish tile following information: —
GOOD FRIDAY (April Ist).
Postal Branch.—A close holiday will be observed. All mails usually despatched on this day will be closed at 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 31st. A counter delivery of correspondence, including registered, will he made on Thursday evening, March 31st, between the hours of 9 and 10 p.m.
Telegraph Branch.—Open from 5 to 5.30 p.m. only. Telephone Exchange.—Open from 9 to 10 a.m. only. EASTER MONDAY (April 4th). Postal Branch. —Open from 9 to 10 a.m. for the transaction of all business except Money Order and Savings Bank. The usual despatch of mails will be made up to and including. 8 a.m. On Saturday, April 2nd, a counter delivery of correspondence (including registered) will be made between 9 and 10 p.m.
Telegraph Branch.—Open from 9 to 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight. Telegrams for transmission after 8 p.m. to be handed in at back entrance.
Telephone Exchange.—Open as usual
