Constipation causes more misery than people wot of, and yet it is a complaint most people treat with indifference and neglect. Eating to excess and over-loading the stomach with the food that does no;, agree, are the chief causes of the trouble. The gastric juices not being sufficient to digest the excess food, there is a considerable waste which remains in the bowel canal, clogging it up. This waste ferments and throws ol'f poisonous gases, which are carried oft' by the blood to all parts of the body, producing biliousness and liver troubles, foul breath, insomnia, flatulence, and these in turn develop into dangerous diseases. Impey's May Apple is a positive remedy for habitual constipation. It acts gently, painlessly, and promptly, cleans the bowels, stimulates the liver, and restores body and mind to health and vigour. Sold by chemists and storekeepers at 2s 6d per bottle.
