PAHIATUA NOTES.
(From Our Own Correspondent.)
The annual meeting of the Pahiatua Mounted Corps was held on Wednesday night, Captain Bolton presiding. The report and balance sheet were adopted, showing the Corps to be in a very satisfactory condition. Sergt.-Major McCardle was elected junior Lieutenant. New dark green uniforms are being ordered direct from Home. Two presentations were made at the meeting, one to Miss Bolton on the eve of her marriage, the other to Trooper Blake, who is also to be married shortly.
On Sunday the Methodist Church will hold their Harvest Festival Services. A bazaar will be held in connection with the same on Monday and Tuesday next, in the Olympic Theatre.
