Circus Horses Burnt to Death.

A fire yesterday morning at the Herald printing works practically destroyed the department in which the illustrations and engravings were done. The damage is estimated at about .£2OOO. The fire broke out in and was confined to a large store quite separate from the main buildings. Wanganui, This Day. By a fire last night the Newmarket stables were destroyed. Three circus horses belonging to Wirth's Circus were burnt to death. The premises were owned by Mr Jefferson, and were insured for £100 in the New Zealand Office. The loss is eonsiihrably in excess of the insurance.
