The Daily Telegraph's Berbera correspondent states that Lieut. Stewart, the last of Colonel Plunkett's officers who was left alive, was wounded in seven places. He shot four of tbe enemy with his revolver, and a Somali then killed him. The Mullah flayed the Somali alive, being disappointed at his not capturing the officer alive.
