(Received To-day, at 9.3 a.m.) New York, July 1. An explosion fired the Union Pacific mine, at Hanna, in Wyoming.

One hundred and seventy-five were killed, and twenty-five bodies were recovered, most of them greatly mutilated.

Some were rescued alive, despite the smoke. .
